Lolita is a photographic project that addresses the representation of the female body and the tensions surrounding its exposure. Through the nude, the series questions the moral, aesthetic, and cultural codes that have historically defined which bodies can be shown, how they should be seen, and what place they occupy within the social gaze.
The project emerges from a dialogue between my autobiographical experience and that of the people I photograph. The representation of the young woman has been shaped by gazes that frequently sexualize and objectify her. In response, Lolita asserts a form of representation in which identity, intimacy, and the relationship with one’s own body are not subordinated to that gaze.
The nude thus takes on a critical dimension: it ceases to be merely a form of representation and becomes a position in relation to the conventions that regulate its visibility. Through photography, the series addresses questions of morality, censorship, and autonomy over one’s own image.
Lolita questions the relationship between body and gaze, and the norms that determine who can look, who can be looked at, and who has the freedom to decide over their own body.

Lolita es un proyecto fotográfico que aborda la representación del cuerpo femenino y las tensiones que surgen en torno a su exposición. A través del desnudo, la serie cuestiona los códigos morales, estéticos y culturales que han definido históricamente qué cuerpos pueden mostrarse, cómo deben ser vistos y qué lugar ocupan dentro de la mirada social.
El proyecto parte de un diálogo entre mi experiencia autobiográfica y la de las personas retratadas. La representación de la mujer joven ha estado marcada por miradas que con frecuencia la sexualizan y cosifican. Frente a ello, Lolita reivindica una representación en la que identidad, intimidad y relación con el propio cuerpo no queden subordinadas a esa mirada.
El desnudo adquiere así una dimensión crítica: deja de ser únicamente una forma de representación para convertirse en una toma de posición frente a las convenciones que regulan su visibilidad. Desde la fotografía, la serie aborda cuestiones de moralidad, censura y autonomía sobre la propia imagen.
Lolita cuestiona la relación entre cuerpo y mirada, y las normas que determinan quién puede mirar, quién puede ser mirado y quién tiene la libertad de decidir sobre su propio cuerpo.
